Jan/ Feb lessons will just be planned by the week depending on weather. Lesson plans will include ground work and horsemanship on days we wish to dress warmer than in our riding gear. Riding boots can be very slippery in the snow, if you are leading horses in from paddocks you will need to bring some winter boots for that and change to riding boots for riding. Boots made specifically for horse riding are important for safety, to prevent their feet from getting caught in the stirrups and to comfortably have correct feel of the horse and balanced leg position. Insulated winter riding boots are nice to have but the only way I know to keep toes from freezing while riding is to have riding boots with room to put toe warmers in New Winter Lesson Package for beginners wishing to join our lesson program
