Lesson Payments
Payment is due at the start of each month to confirm your spot in our full weekly schedule.
If there are days you plan to be away monthly payment can be adjusted at that time.
Any open lesson times will then be given to students needing to reschedule or to those on the waiting list.
Missed lessons can usually be reschedule with reasonable notice. Skipped lessons cannot be refunded.
Lessons cancelled by Willow Grove Riding School can be rescheduled or credited to your next lesson package.
Equipment required
Riders must have their own horse riding helmet and set of brushes
(curry comb, dandy brush, body brush )
As well as riding boots made specifically for horse riding.

Volunteer program
Volunteering is a great way to learn every part of horse care and earn opportunities for extra riding or horsemanship lessons.
Volunteer opportunities may be open to students who are in the 2x/week lesson program and have attended one of our horsemanship camps. Or adults with previous experience in horse care.

Farm safety rules for students and guests
Children may only enter the arena when they are wearing a helmet and are supervised by their coach. Children who are not in the arena with their coach must be supervised by a parent AT ALL TIMES. Do not feed anything to any horses without their owners permission. Some are on a special diet and some are not friendly. Do not climb on the gate or fences in the arena, they are not sturdy. Do not climb on paddock fences or gates. Do not enter any gates, paddocks or other buildings without permission from your coach. No running in the arena or in the doorway. Do not allow children to play outside the sides of the arena as this could startle the horses. Please clear the gate/ entrance area when horses are entering or leaving the arena. No dogs. |
