Horses may be turned out in their own paddocks only, do not switch paddocks or turn horses loose anywhere on the farm. Do not let horses visit over the fence with others horses. Horses are not to be turned loose with a halter on.
Paddock will be cleaned 5x/week. Option to clean your own means you clean it yourself 5 days/week.
Hay is fed 3 times/day, evening feed of beet pulp/ complete feed plus any supplements provided by owner.
Boarders may not help themselves to hay, if your horse needs more feed this can be discussed, if your taking your horse out for the day and need to take hay with you ask first to be sure of which hay your horse should be eating.
Do not feed any thing to anyone else's horse or enter their paddocks without permission.
All pastures are closed to boarders at this time. No grazing, no turn out, no riding.
Boarders are required to keep their own horse up to date on vaccinations, deworming, hoof care, vet and dental care.
Boarders dogs must be on a leash at all times and cleaned up after every day. No dogs in paddocks, no dogs In the arena, no dogs in feed room or warm room.
Do not tie dogs to paddock or arena fences or where dogs could be stepped on and or horses could get caught up in the leash.
Any visitors must sign a waiver. Any friends who want to ride or enter the riding arena or any horses paddock must be a horse council member and have my permission to do so.
If you do have guests in the paddocks it is YOUR responsibility to make sure the gates are properly latched before you leave!
All riders must wear helmets.
All riders must sign Willow Grove Riding School waiver.
No longing while there are lessons in the arena.
Do not turn horses loose in the arena.
No jumping other than in lessons.
Clean up after your horse after grooming and riding AND empty the wheelbarrow.
Do not tie to fences, only to the string tied at the rail.
If you're riding during lesson times be aware of where the students are going and be prepared to ride around them without disrupting the lesson.
If you move jumps, poles, obstacles return them to where they were set .
Watch the schedule board- arena will be closed during events such as pony rides, birthday parties and day camps.
No dogs in the arena.
Never bring hay in the arena.
Ask people to clear the entrance way before taking horses in or out of the arena.
Any guests visiting or riding must sign a waiver, have HCBC membership and have my permission to do so.
